Community Task Force MKE, also known as ComForce MKE.
ComForce MKE is a resident-led Milwaukee organization focused on practical support, crisis response, advocacy, youth outreach, and public safety work rooted in the neighborhoods it serves.
The organization connects residents and families with resources, coordinates volunteers and partners, responds to urgent needs, and builds initiatives that help strengthen Milwaukee communities over time.
Our Mission
ComForce MKE works to empower residents, prevent violence, support youth, respond to crises, and connect individuals and families with the resources they need to move toward safety, stability, and opportunity.
The work is intentionally hands-on. Whether the need is shelter support, food assistance, transportation, de-escalation, missing-person response, burial assistance, or employment readiness, ComForce MKE is organized to help people find the next practical step.
Violence Prevention
Community-based interruption, de-escalation, outreach, and stabilizing support designed to reduce harm.
Youth & Family Support
Programs and initiatives that support young people, parents, and families navigating community challenges.
Direct Resource Help
Shelter connections, food assistance, transportation support, and referrals for urgent practical needs.
Rapid Response
Coordinated neighborhood response for missing persons, incidents, disaster relief, and urgent family needs.
How We Work
ComForce MKE brings together residents, volunteers, partners, and community leaders to meet needs that often require more than one kind of support. The organization uses outreach, service coordination, public safety work, advocacy, and practical follow-through to help residents get connected.
The goal is not only to respond when something has gone wrong. ComForce MKE also works upstream through youth leadership, parent engagement, neighborhood projects, storytelling, and initiatives that help build stronger connections before crisis hits.
